If you got a brand new Mac, what exact steps would you take to configure it to your liking?

How do you install and set up your dev environment / dev tools / applications / .profile etc?

Do you use any configuration tools, like ansible? … or a shell script like this one?

… I'd like to try to emulate (copy) your exact dev setup on my next machine. What would be the easiest way to do that?
