Account suspended for the third time in several weeks #211663

Man, I’m so sorry you’re going through this. That sounds beyond frustrating, especially when you’re just trying to maintain an open-source project for the community. Having an account suspended once is stressful enough, but three times in three months with zero context or explanation is absolute torture. You’re definitely not alone in this—a few maintainers have run into similar nightmare loops before. A lot of times, these repeated automatic flags happen because of overly aggressive automated spam/bot detection systems (like triggering false positives on rapid commits, certain external links in READMEs, or specific automated actions/tokens), and when support reinstates the account, the flag itself doesn't always get properly cleared from the automated filter list. A couple of things others in similar boats have tried:

I am still facing the same issue with my GitHub account, and honestly, the support experience has been extremely frustrating. Every time I create a new support ticket, the team asks the same question: "How do you plan to use GitHub?" I explain my purpose, provide the requested information, and respond to their questions, but then I receive no meaningful response or update. It feels like we're going around in circles. While the support team keeps repeating the same questions, developers like us are struggling to regain access to our accounts so we can continue working and deliver projects to our clients. The most frustrating part is that I still haven't received a clear explanation of why my account was suspended in the first place. My GitHub account contains years of personal projects, professional work, and important client repositories. Losing access to it directly affects my ability to work. GitHub Support Team, please take this issue seriously. Instead of repeatedly asking the same questions, please review the case, provide a clear explanation for the suspension, and help resolve the issue. I am now considering raising this publicly on LinkedIn and X (Twitter) because the existing support process has not provided any meaningful resolution. All I am asking for is transparency, proper communication, and access to my account so I can get back to work. |

I know this doesn't help, but I'm really frustrated and annoyed, and I just need to vent.
My primary account which I use to maintain an open source project has just been suspended for the 3rd time in 3 months.
It took five weeks to reinstate the project the second time. That was four weeks ago. I asked but received no information about what the potential violation was.
Has anyone here experienced anything similar?
