Hello GitHub Community,

I am experiencing an unpassable verification loop with the GitHub Student Developer Pack application. The automated system repeatedly rejects my official academic documents, citing date or name mismatches.

I have verified that my GitHub Billing Profile and Public Profile names match the exact spelling and layout of my university documents letter-for-letter. I am an active student with documentation covering my current term.

Because the web forms blocked me from standard submission channels, I have already opened a direct support ticket via email.

Could a community moderator or staff member please help look into my open ticket?

I Faced same problem and tried after few weeks its was opened so quickly, i think use transcript or your uni id card as me, and if still its not opened you can email to github as the youre really student and dont forget attach that uni document in email, i remember with this way i can able to open my edu account in github, I wish my answer will be helpful

• Date Formatting: The system can be incredibly strict about how dates are displayed. It looks specifically for a future graduation date or an explicit current term date (e.g., "Spring 2026"). If the date is embedded in a long paragraph of text rather than a clear field, the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) might miss it.

• Image Quality: Ensure that you are taking a live photo of the physical document (if using a phone/camera setup via the portal) rather than a screenshot of a digital PDF, as the system sometimes flags screenshots. Hope this helps.
