Hi everyone,

Hello GitHub Education Community,

I am a student at Bangladesh Open University (6th Semester, currently active) and I am having trouble with my GitHub Student Education Benefits application.

Problem:

1. My application was rejected on June 23-24, 2026 due to document clarity and name mismatch issues
2. I have now updated my GitHub profile with the correct name (First Name: Abdulla, Last Name: Mia)
3. I logged out and logged back in as instructed
4. BUT when I try to reapply, my application portal ONLY shows a "Take Photo" camera option
5. There is NO option to upload PDF or choose from gallery
6. When I use the camera to photograph my documents, the images become blurry/unclear
7. So I cannot submit my corrected application

• Student Name: Md. Abdulla Mia
• Institution: Bangladesh Open University
• Student ID: 21023893012
• Current Status: Active (6th Semester, Enrolled Term: 2021)

Documents I Have Ready:
✓ Payment Slip (dated 03-03-2026, showing current enrollment)
✓ Student Profile Page (showing BANGLADESH OPEN UNIVERSITY, name, and enrollment)
✓ All documents have matching names and institution

Questions:

1. Is the camera-only upload a known technical issue?
2. Can I submit documents in a different format (PDF/Image file)?
3. Are there workarounds for this limitation?
4. How do I proceed since I have the correct documents but cannot upload them?

I have all the required documentation ready and my GitHub profile is now correctly updated. I just need help with the technical upload issue to complete my application.
