Can't verify my student status

I am unable to verify myself for the GitHub education pack due to the reason that my name on the account is not the same as my student ID. But it is the same. I need assistance.

Make Your GitHub Name Match EXACTLY

GitHub checks:
Full name (including middle name/initials)
Order (e.g., John Doe vs Doe John )

Spacing:
Capitalisation usually doesn’t matter, but spelling does
Presence/absence of middle initials
What to do:

Go to GitHub → Settings → Public profile

Update:
Full Name field
If needed, temporarily adjust your username display name

Could you make it character-by-character identical to your student ID?
If your ID says:

JOHN DOE

Then your GitHub full name should be:

John doe
(not John D., not J. Doe, not with extra spaces)

After updating → wait 10–15 minutes → reapply.

Upload Stronger Proof
Instead of only a student ID, upload:

Student ID (clear, no glare)

Bonafide certificate (current academic year)

Fee receipt (current semester/year)

College portal screenshot showing your name

More signals = less automated rejection.

Check for Hidden Differences
