Remove access for 3rd party apps like Claude, etc.

New here. I was experimenting with Claude to create codes for git
I do not want to give me Claude access. The permissions page looks incomplete.
Does anyone know where to test the app rights?
Have you found the process difficult?

Hey there! To remove a third-party app's access to your GitHub account:

1. Go to Settings (top-right profile menu)
2. 2. Click 'Applications' in the left sidebar
3. 3. Under 'Authorized OAuth Apps', find the app (e.g., Claude, etc.)
4. 4. Click 'Revoke' next to it to remove access.
      If it's a GitHub App (not OAuth), look under 'Installed GitHub Apps' and uninstall from there.

Some services also provide a dashboard to revoke tokens. But GitHub's settings is the central place. After revoking, the app can no longer access your repos.

Testing: after revoking, try an action that requires the app; it should prompt for re-authorization (which you won't grant). That confirms it's removed. Hope that helps!
