I love the (? new i am not sure) Views in https://github.com/repos but what would help is the option to only search for repos that start with a specific string.

Currently:
org:myorg sort:relevance mtp- (mtp = my teams prefix) finds also Repositories like other-team-mtp-project-a but i would love a option to only find projects that really start with mtp for example mtp-project-b

Something like ^mtp- or starts-with:"mtp-" would be cool or otherwise the option to exclude specific repositories i tried -other-team and -in:name other-team both did not work to exclude only the other teams repository that also contains our prefix

Great feature request! This would definitely be useful for filtering repositories with specific naming conventions.

Potential workaround in the meantime:
You might try using advanced search filters and refining your approach:

• Use the full search syntax with exact matching where possible
• Combine with sort:name to get results ordered by repository name
• Use GitHub's API filters for more granular control

Regarding the feature:
While starts-with: isn't currently supported, this is valuable feedback for the product team. Some alternatives that might help:

1. Use the GitHub CLI (gh) for more powerful filtering: gh repo list <org> --language -L 10000 | grep "^mtp-"
2. Consider using GitHub's GraphQL API with custom queries for precise filtering
3. The product team may consider regex support or prefix matching in future updates

I still could use contributed-by:@me but as soon as i help the other team once it would come up too for now that works but in the future i hope for a better method that might work too
