It’s a simple way to spot someone new, say hello, and make sure they feel at home – whether they’re asking a question or raising a bug. Your friendly greetings and support help create the kind of community where everyone can feel valued from day one.

Whenever you see the Welcome 🎉 label on someone’s first post, feel free to greet them whilst replying. Interested in viewing all recently joined members together? Just use these filters in the search bar: is:open label:"Welcome 🎉" sort:date_created

Privacy matters too - if someone chooses to keep their profile private, their posts may not be labelled as a newcomer, and that’s absolutely fine. Lurkers are always welcome to read along at their own pace.
