Loss of access to free month for Copilot pro

I added a debit card to access to the free month. The card had 0 money in it's account, and the opportunity was lost. I want to use the free month, i've put money in it but it is now charging me the full month.

It sounds like GitHub didn’t authorize the free trial because the card had insufficient funds at the time. Once the payment fails, the free trial opportunity is usually skipped automatically.
