Currently, Copilot Chat only allows adding the entire solution as context. When working on large solutions with multiple projects, this is inefficient and introduces unnecessary noise.
Request: Allow users to add individual projects (not just the entire solution) as context in Copilot Chat. This would significantly improve response relevance and reduce token usage.
When Copilot makes code changes, the auto-build feature rebuilds the entire solution. For large solutions with many projects, this causes unnecessary delays waiting for unrelated projects to compile.
Request: Add an option to configure auto-build at the project level, so only the active/relevant project is built after Copilot applies changes, rather than the entire solution.
Currently, users must manually attach files or the entire solution for each chat session. This is tedious and disrupts workflow.
Request: Add an "Auto-attach active project" option that automatically includes all files from the currently active/startup project as context, without requiring manual file selection each time.
These improvements would greatly enhance productivity for developers working with multi-project solutions.
