Do I need to use APIs or Webhooks for my current work?

Hello,

I would like to understand whether my current type of work requires using APIs or Webhooks.

At the moment, I mainly use GitHub to host and manage my repositories. I am not currently integrating external services, triggering automated events, or receiving callbacks from third-party systems.

Are APIs or Webhooks necessary in this case, or are they only required when integrating GitHub with external tools, services, or automation platforms?

I want to know if I need to configure anything under API and Webhooks right now, or if it is safe to leave this section unused.
