Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing issues with GitHub Sponsors payouts for this month (December).

The Situation:
My account has always been configured for Automatic Payouts (scheduled monthly on the 22nd). I have received payouts automatically in previous months without any issues.

However, the automatic payout for this month did not trigger on the 22nd. When I checked my Sponsors dashboard today, I noticed two strange behaviors:

1. Status Change: My payout status has been switched to "Manual", even though I did not make any changes to my settings.
2. Unable to Revert: I cannot change it back to "Automatic" in the settings page. The schedule section simply shows a message to "Contact GitHub Sponsors" instead of the usual toggle options.

I have already submitted a support ticket regarding this issue.

Has anyone else in the community faced a similar "forced manual" switch recently?
