Unable to avail Github Student developer pack

Hi everyone,

I had applied for the Github Student Developer pack 3 days ago. It was denied since I had not filled my billing details and not enabled 2 Factor. After completing both the above mentioned steps I tried reapplying the same day but was faced with this issue attached in the image. Then I logged out of my account and tried again, yet I couldn't apply. Then I read somewhere on github to reapply afetr 24-48 hours of being denied. So I tried the next day, and the next day again and today as well since it's the third day. Still I am facing this issue. It says denied and to start a new application on the main page for developer pack and after that when I fill all details and try to submit my ID, it lets me browse to the ID on my local device, uploads it and when I hit submit application I am encountered with error in the image. Please suggest how to tackle this issue or whom to contact regarding this so my application is not blocked.

If your reapply option is blocked even after fixing your details and enabling 2FA, follow these quick steps:

1. Wait a bit:
   After a rejection, GitHub locks reapplications for about 24–48 hours (rarely up to 90 days).

2. Clear cache or switch browser:
   Use incognito/private mode or another browser/device to remove old session data.

3. Use direct link:
   Go to education.github.com/discount_requests/new
   to try reapplying directly.

4. Fix your documents:
   Upload your student ID/enrollment proof as a PDF — some formats cause upload issues.

5. Recheck your profile:
   Ensure your GitHub name and billing info match your student ID, and add your school email to your account.

If still blocked:
Contact GitHub Education Support
with your details (username, school, last application date, and a short explanation).

When you say upload, do you mean take a picture of? I can't seem to find a way to upload a file.

Usually this issue is solved by submitting the application using another device, such as a smartphone or another PC.

These users solved it by using the phone: #162877, #168688, #175904

If none of the above works, I recommend you contact support by opening a ticket here, select "Other" and explain your problem.

Before I try it from another device I wanted to confirm, is it mandatory to set my college ID as primary since I prefer to keep my personal ID main. I did add my college ID to emails list but want to be sure before reapplying.
