Subject: Inquiry: Applying Student Discount to $39/month Copilot Tier Body: Hi GitHub Support Team, I am currently receiving the $10/month Copilot subscription for free as part of my GitHub Student Developer Pack. I am interested in upgrading to the $39/month Copilot tier. Is it possible to apply my $10/month student benefit as a discount to this $39/month plan, so that I would pay the remaining difference of $29/month? Thank you for clarifying this. Best regards, |

No. The Student Developer Pack’s Copilot benefit doesn’t stack as a $10 credit toward the $39/month tier. If pricing changes or GitHub adds a stacking option later, it would be announced in the Copilot billing pages or the GitHub Changelog. |

No. The Student Developer Pack’s Copilot benefit doesn’t stack as a $10 credit toward the $39/month tier.
• The student benefit covers the standard Copilot plan (normally $10/month) at no cost.
• The $39/month tier is a separate plan; there’s no mechanism to apply the student benefit as a partial discount.
• If you upgrade, you’d pay the full $39/month.
If pricing changes or GitHub adds a stacking option later, it would be announced in the Copilot billing pages or the GitHub Changelog.
