Hello. I plan to realize one social experiment . Site to serve it I plan to make on GitHub pages. It is ready.
Question is: how many RPS can Pages handle?) about limit of 100 gb per month I know.
I'm worried If my experiment will run intensively it can generate higher RPS.
Is it will be a problem? Size of site is about 100kb with scripts

GitHub Pages is designed for hosting static sites and works well for general project pages, portfolios, and docs — but it’s not optimized for high-traffic experiments with lots of requests per second (RPS).
A couple of points to keep in mind:
Bandwidth is limited to 100 GB/month (as you mentioned).
There isn’t an official public RPS limit documented, but Pages is backed by a CDN and can usually handle spikes in normal browsing traffic.
That said, if your experiment starts generating sustained, very high RPS, GitHub may rate-limit or even restrict your Pages site to prevent abuse.
If you expect heavy load, it might be safer to host it on a platform built for higher traffic (like Netlify, Vercel, or Cloudflare Pages) where you’ll have clearer guarantees around performance and scalability.
For a small 100kb site with scripts, you’ll probably be fine during casual traffic, but for intensive experiments, GitHub Pages may not be the best choice.

For interest tried to pushing random githubpages site via k6 Grafana perf test . Result - too many 429 answers . May be it because test was run from one location and from one ip address.
