it shows message but nothing happens

Here’s what you can try to fix this issue:

1. Tap the blue “this setup page” link
   Sometimes the automatic redirect just fails silently, especially on mobile. If you click that link, it should force the app to continue the login process.

2. Open it in a real browser
   If you're doing this from inside another app (like Twitter, LinkedIn, or even an in-app browser), it might block the redirect. Try copying the link and opening it in Chrome or Firefox instead.

3. Clear your browser’s cache (or use Incognito mode)
   If something’s cached weirdly, it might block the login. Open a private/incognito tab and try again. It often works better that way.

hi thanks,
i tried:

1. i pressed the link but just directs me to github forum
2. i did, even used edge instead of chrome to be sure it's less ram heavy
3. i cleared not only cache but also cleaned phone with ccleaner, reinstalled github mobile app and reseted my phone

none of it worked.
and i'm surprised bcs the app has been working properly for last year since i got the phone

i tried:

The screen shows GitHub trying to redirect you to another app after logging in. If nothing happens, tap the “this setup page” link or try another browser. This is common on mobile, using a desktop or clearing your browser's cache can also help.
