container seems to be using a cached version even after it has been deleted and added again

adding some debugging code to my console output and seeing it in the code pulled fresh from the repo but not seeing the output in the console, even when i delete the stack, clone the repo again and add it to dockge it's still using the old code. is there a way i can force it to rebuild, or set it to nocache?
