It was a little unclear to me why the open source version was behind. Now, I understand that this is the business model.

Is that correctly understood? Is there any official delay period?

I happens to contributions? Are they release under another license as well?

You can see the release on the quickstart page.

For contributions on the open source, it is always available on the public. We will never lock it in any ways as it is meant for the public to use.

As for the QuickStart, those are actually BETA features that will be released on the open source as well. Just think of it as early access with extra support.

Either way, all the basic that you need is on the open source already.
