Mouse events not working

As of a recent update mouse events in some applications stopped working on the first literal line of that application. Eg. when using tig you can't double click to select in the top line. In nvim when using bufferline you are no longer able to use the mouse to interact with open buffers.

What's your OS and Ghostty version? This sounds like something that may have been fixed by #9241 and #9296

macOS 26.0 (25A354) & Ghostty is on c7d5d1b9f on the tip channel (updated earlier today).

Hm... running the same version right now with a blank Ghostty config and not experiencing this. The nvim bufferline responds to mouse events as expected. I have macOS 26.0.1 (25A362), but I hardly think that would make a difference.

I can't reproduce this either, note for me tig doesn't allow clicking in any terminal I try. Unless I'm using the wrong tig.

Strange, default macOS terminal doesn't have any issues. So must be related to ghostty. As for tig, it's selecting text that doesn't work on the top. Especially noticeable when you try to double click to select the commit hash at the top of the right pane.

Gotcha. Yeah, this doesn't reproduce for me. I can select text just fine:
