problem with OpenAI key

Hi,
I'm trying to get paperless-ai up and running and so far I come to setup screen and do the configuration. However I have problems with OpenAI key and always get the error 'OpenAI API Key is not valid. Please check the key.' when saving the configuration.
To create the key I logged on to openai.com and created an api key for my default project (I tried both, personal and service account keys).
The key looks like this:
sk-svcacct-IqbMxxxxxxxxxx-eFRsaGZR5UR-xxxxxxxxxxxxpjC8veVZ-I7zzzzzzzzzzzzz1T3BlbkFJxlFZcib6W6zX-Nxxxxxxxxxxx5v_zN2rQxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx5i0uf_pMPFqFu3b8ryyyy
But I always get the error message.
What am I doing wrong?

Do you have a payment method set up in your account and a positive balance over (i think) 5$ ?

no I did not have positive balance. now I do and the key gets accepted.

My Key gets rejected as well. I dont have a payment method set up since my account is part of a Team. Could this be an issue?

That will be likely the case.

My OpenAI API Key also gets rejected. I do have a valid payment method and > $9 in credit. My homeassistant instance is using another API key on the same organization and project and that is working flawlessly.
What else can be the issue?
(Running paperless-ai in a docker container on an ubuntu-vm under proxmox. VM has internet access and tested the availability of api.openai.com with curl)
The key itself is working.
