This is almost certainly a dummy game for the movie. As Timmy Jim mentioned, the left "joystick" moves despite a lack of movement from Paige's thumb.

Something that hasn't been mentioned yet is that despite Paige clicking the fire button multiple times, we only see the gun fire twice and the fire button light up twice, even though she clicks the button multiple times in between.
