We had a wonderful time at the latest EMBL Fit for Spring event last week!
While spring in the Alps is at its peak 🌞 🌳 ⛰️ , we enjoyed our popular activities such as running 🏃 , swimming 🏊 , bouldering 💪 , volleyball 🏐 , cricket 🏏 , badminton 🥍 , spikeball ⚽, and yoga 🧘 , as well as a new activity: an orientation run around the EPN campus 🕵 .
We also took time to relax with reflexology and Tui Na massages💆 , and to boost our creativity with painting 🎨 and board games 🎲 .
This beautiful week of fun and togetherness ended with our traditional table tennis tournament 🏓 .
Last but not least, two EMBL Grenoble teams took part in the EMBL Step Contest. 🚶♂️ The 'Anaerobic Legends: Grenoble Drift' finished second 🥈 , achieving 1,216,411 steps and unlocking the gold award for reaching one million steps – congratulations!
An honourable mention goes to the 'ensEMBLe' team, who unlocked the bronze award for reaching 350,000 steps.
Thank you to our liaison officer Elise Bralet and to our enthusiastic colleagues who organised an amazing week of activities - Gharbi Sarah, Véronique MAYEUX, Diane Weirich, Anton Popov, Nilton Aranda Neto, Anaïs Lamy, PhD, Vinay Kedare, Jules Van Der Walt, Jonas Mehrens, Jean Poylo, and Nikita Sharaev.
