For the 15th consecutive year, we’ve kicked off the HEC Certificate of Influential Luxury; we were thrilled to welcome HEC Paris students to our Kering headquarters in Paris. Our program offers students a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the luxury sector through an engaging curriculum of seminars and challenges them to develop creative, strategic solutions to real-world business issues. A major figure in cinema, Nicole Kidman has built a career marked as much by her artistic audacity as by her virtuosity and transformative portrayals that have reshaped the representation of women on screen. From Eyes Wide Shut and The Hours to Big Little Lies and Babygirl, her work reflects a deep commitment to bold, uncompromising storytelling. Since her 2017 pledge to work with a female director every 18 months, Kidman has exceeded that promise—collaborating with 19 to date—while using her platform and production company, Blossom Films, to elevate women’s voices in film. “It’s a true honor to receive this award from Francois, Thierry, Iris, my friends at the Kering Group as well as the Cannes Film Festival. Today, Kering announces its first dedicated Water Strategy, with an ambitious commitment to achieving a Net Water Positive Impact by 2050 and delivering measurable water-positive results in key hotspots by 2035. This strategy – the critical next stage in the Group’s science-backed approach to sustainability – embraces the Climate-Nature-Water nexus, which recognizes that climate change, biodiversity loss, and water scarcity are deeply interconnected. “The need for responsible corporate water stewardship has never been more urgent. It is crucial that water commitments evolve from a reductions-only approach to become water-positive, regenerating and replenishing water and ecosystems impacted by business activities,” comments Marie-Claire Daveu Sustainability and Institutional Affairs Officer. Group revenue in the first quarter of 2025 was €3.9 billion, down 14% as reported and on a comparable basis. “As we had anticipated, Kering faced a difficult start to the year.
