Funded by the European Parliament, the Game Changing Innovation prize aims to anticipate and shape the technological revolutions that will drive Europe’s growth for the upcoming decades. 🇪🇺 As a testament to the robustness of our project and the strength of its potential, 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝟗𝟓𝟎 𝟎𝟎𝟎€ 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 DeltaOrbit, ArianeGroup, Pangea Propulsion and Sener. 📢 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲🔧 The electric motor that will drive the insertion of the combustible fuselage is finally here! For now, it is calmly spending its last weeks of free time with its shiny copper wiring exposed for everyone to admire. But not for long! We’ve prepared a pretty busy schedule for it over 2026. 📸 Here's a pic of its first assembly with the harmonic drive reductor and 3D printed mockup components. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! This motor will be used for testing on the first iteration of Opal, our in-space propulsion solution. We’ve been developing its preliminary design with Meridian Space Command and UK Space Agency since September 2025. We can’t thank them enough for their collaboration!
