I am a resident of Colombia, and I would rather confirm the requirement than submit an application that cannot be approved. The Merchant Onboarding page states that the monetization system is available to developers with legal entities in the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore and most of the European Union, and that if you do not live or are not incorporated in one of those countries you cannot sign up. Colombia is not on that list. The page also notes the list is subject to change, which is why I am asking rather than assuming. Three questions: 1. Is there currently any route for a developer resident in Colombia to enrol? I note that Colombia does appear on the list of countries whose users are allowed to purchase monetized apps, so buyers here are supported even though sellers are not. 2. If I established a legal entity in one of the supported countries, would that satisfy the requirement while I personally remain resident in Colombia? The documentation asks individuals for proof of residential address and individual tax ID, so I cannot tell whether eligibility follows the entity's country of incorporation or my own country of residence. 3. Is the published list current? I have seen Mexico referred to as supported in at least one place, but Mexico does not appear on the Merchant Onboarding page. If that list is out of date, it would be useful for more of us than just me. For context, this is a personal project, not a company. I would be enrolling as an individual / sole proprietor. Thanks for any clarification.

Forum Post: RE: Falsche Laufprognose nach Lauf

Hi, nein seit dem 15.06. spinnt die Berechnung der Laufprognose. The watch is finally usable again after another software update, but battery life dropped from 14 days down to 2. Hoping a future release fixes this. One tip for troubleshooting pairing issues: test with an alternative phone first, so you know whether it's actually a device problem and not your phone, OS, or app causing it. Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with Garmin's ability to develop and test software properly. And in a way, I get why this keeps happening: they've dug themselves into a hole. :( They have dozens of actively supported hardware/software product lines, most with multiple regional sub-versions (EU, North America, Asia, etc.). Each device has its own hardware configuration, sensors, and modules. It looks like they're running the same software base across all of this and customizing per device, which creates thousands of possible test cases, more than they can realistically cover before release. So to a good extent, it feels like they release and hope for the best. And it's not getting better; they keep releasing new devices and new versions, so the combinatorial mess just keeps growing. I would not want to be the head of QA there. Some random device/configuration combo just stops working properly with every release, the hole is getting deeper and deeper. It affects a small percentage of users, and their management treats that as an acceptable cost of doing business.

Forum Post: can Garmin consider a "Firstbeat Metrics" sub-forum and get a developer to answer questions sometimes?

A couple years ago Garmin changed how Firstbeat metrics work across their models for vo2max and "performance condition" They've never ever explained what they changed or why but multiple people have reported this across several watches Before the change "performance condition" was directly tied to vo2max, now there is no longer any relationship "performance condition" seems to be for entertainment purposes only now (it used to be every full run at +2 PC = +1 vo2max) for the past couple of years now vo2max will remain almost the same daily, for weeks, increasing internally by just +0.001 or so per day then every 2-3 months BOOM there is a massive vo2max surge over a window for about 3-5 days and then back to the +0.001 it has no relationship to my running, the same distance, the same average heartrate past couple days my running is weak recovery runs without any special decrease in heartrate , same heat and humidity and yet by the time this surge will be over in a day or two there will be almost a full +1 vo2max surge then back to +0.001 per day for months oh and all this is with HRM-Pro-Plus, not wrist optical, there are no dropouts in HR or HRV btw the vo2max is probably accurate, it's just SUPER WEIRD how it is calculated in bursts with only one window for change every few months

Forum Post: RE: 23.27 Screen Brightness issue

Same here, but with me the real battery life remained unchanged at 7 days, also if the watch predicted 4 days only.

Forum Post: RE: fēnix 9 Pro Solar - disappointed with the MIP watch face behavior
I've seen the battery recharge by around 1% every 2 minutes
This is a highly unlikely value. I think it's an effect of the battery being almost fully charged, and the watch estimating the battery level by the battery voltage. On the Enduro 3 (which I think has bigger solar area than the Fenix 9 Solar 51mm) about 50k lux hours gives you one percent battery increase. You get 50klux in an hour when the solar widget reports 100% (if it works the same way as the Enduro 3). If you have the perfectly strong sun hitting the watch face perpendicularly, then the charge rate can max out around 250%. That would mean 1% for every 24 minutes. These rates might be different for the F9, it's possible to calculate by Garmin's battery estimates with/without solar. However this rate never happens in real life use, because our hand is rarely in the perfect position and also because the watch is depleting meanwhile. BTW, if you want to test the watch charging off your wrist, put it in a bit of shallow water that just about covers the screen to keep it cool while it's directly on the sun. Also probably don't try to do this when it's close to fully charged, I've read reports in the F8 and E3 forums where the charge controller gets confused when the solar charges the watch around 100%. Then it keeps the watch on 100% for a long time and then it suddenly drops down. This might be a bug actually, but better not to trigger it.

Forum Post: RE: List of best/highest quality courses on HTH?

Indian Wells Resort (Players Course) A couple of weeks ago I recommended the Indian Wells Resort-Celebrity Course.
