Before the update, my historical Stress levels were usually around 30–40 at most during normal daily activities. Since the update, I am frequently seeing values around 70–80, including periods when I am completely resting and not doing any physical activity. This behavior started only after the update and is very different from my historical baseline. The issue also appears to be affecting other metrics that depend on Stress/HRV data, making several health and recovery metrics inconsistent with my usual data. For example: - Previous typical Stress range: approximately 30–40 - Current Stress readings: frequently 70–80 - High Stress values are recorded even while sitting or resting - No significant change in my normal routine that would explain such a large difference - The behavior started after installing the latest Beta firmware - Other related health/recovery metrics are consequently showing abnormal or inconsistent values It looks like there may have been a change in the Stress calculation algorithm, HRV interpretation, or sensor data processing introduced with the latest Beta firmware. Could the Garmin team please investigate whether there were any changes to the Stress calculation or HRV processing in this version? I can provide screenshots, Stress graphs, HRV data, Body Battery data, and additional information if needed.

Extremely inaccurate HR when not using a chest strap

I have a very slow heart - resting below 30bpm and maxHR at 148. I've setup the maxHR field and the zones accordingly, using VO2max lab measurements. My FR 970 is my 5th Garmin watch and none of my watches have managed to measure my HR accurately in activities like Cardio, Running, Hiking, Biking and swimming, I believe that the software makes assumptions about what the HR of a "normal" person should be during those activities and use it somehow in their HR error correction. It does an OK job with "slower" activities like SUP, Pilates, Walking,... I still love the watch and get accurate results when I use a chest HR monitor which means that I can then rely on all the training metrics derived from HR. But the battery in my chest HR strap died and I did 3 short bike rides without it. I hadn't done that in a long time and clearly things haven't improved. My HR during those rides got over 160 a lot while I knew from the effort level that it must have been around 120bpm. And of course, that completely messed up the training load, Intensity minutes,..... I do wish that the HR error connection would take the Max Heart Rate and the Resting HR values in the user profile into account and realize that there is something wrong when they measure a HR 15% or 20% above the specified Max value. When that happens, if there is no way to compute a more accurate HR, then I would be much better to record some kind of "No HR data" and not use those portion of the activity to calculate all the health and workout metrics.

Step counting stays active during Indoor Rowing and Indoor Skiing, inflating daily step totals

During an Indoor Rowing or Indoor Skiing activity, the wrist step counter keeps registering steps from the stroke/pole motion, even though no walking or running takes place. The watch crashed and rebooted instead of completing the save. Amazon Music becomes unresponsive On a separate occasions, Amazon Music became completely unresponsive to both touchscreen and physical-button input. A reboot of the watch was required before the app responded normally again. Bluetooth music volume initially too low On another occasion, when I first connected my Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 and started Amazon Music, the music volume was significantly lower than the selected volume level. Without changing the volume, it suddenly increased to the expected level after a short period. It appeared that the watch had initially applied an unintended volume reduction and then reverted to the correct level. Voice alerts I initially suspected the low Garmin voice-alert volume might be related to the headphones. However, once the audio system is operating normally, Garmin voice alerts work correctly. Voice Alerts are set to Audio Output → Connected Devices . During a run, the music ducks when a lap/pace announcement occurs and the Garmin voice is clear and approximately the same perceived volume as the music was immediately before it ducked. This makes me suspect the issues are related to the watch’s audio/music software rather than headphone compatibility. Reproduction: The crash has only occurred once so far, so I have not deliberately tried to reproduce it. Software: Public Beta 18.23 Music: Amazon Music Headphones: Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 Shokz firmware: HU_R_47_20251023 Shokz app: 6.0.1

Forum Post: Auto Pause problem in Hike Activity

With Auto Pause set to "When Stopped", the activity randomly stops.
