The bombardment destroyed the targeted vehicle and caused significant damage to the surrounding area. First responders and residents rushed to the scene to recover the victims and transport the wounded to the hospital. Medical staff at the local al-Awda Hospital said they had received the bodies of four victims and were treating eight people who were injured. The Gaza Interior Ministry also issued a statement verifying that the Israeli military had directly struck a police patrol within the densely populated camp. At least 677 Palestinians have been killed and 1,813 injured in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire, the Health Ministry said. Israel’s two-year war that has killed more than 72,000 Palestinians and injured over 171,000 since October 2023, along with widespread destruction of about 90% of civilian infrastructure.
