Stora Enso plans to implement a new organisation with seven P&L responsible business areas reflecting the importance of its core business of renewable packaging in the business portfolio. The new flatter and streamlined organisation will increase customer focus, drive operational efficiency with increased integration, reduce complexity and enhance the Group’s performance culture. Supporting the transformation, we are pleased to welcome two new leaders to our Group Leadership Team: Markku Luoto as EVP and Head of Food Service and Liquid Board and Andreas Birmoser as EVP and Head of Cartonboard. 🌟 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 🌟 On this World Creativity and Innovation Day, we’re proud to share a recent initiative that embodies the power of collaboration, creativity, and innovation in shaping a better future. During the FIS Nordic Ski WSC in Trondheim, we partnered with Trondelag, KUK-Gallery and 9 talented young local artists to bring different visions of a sustainable future to life. Over the course of 10 days, these young artists created 10 incredible pieces of art, each inspired by interactions with the local community and visitors to Trondheim in a space we were thrilled to provide. This collaboration wasn’t just about art - it was about sparking conversations, exchanging ideas, and showcasing how diverse perspectives can come together to inspire innovation. Seeing these artists transform ideas into powerful visual stories reminded us that 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲. We believe that 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 - and this experience in Trondheim was a perfect example of that. Here’s to fostering more opportunities for creativity and collaboration as we work toward a sustainable future! 🌍 What does your vision of a sustainable future look like? Let’s keep the conversation going in the comments below! 👇 #WorldCreativityAndInnovationDay #Sustainability #Collaboration #Innovation #ArtWithHeart

The breath-taking geometric design concept, rooted in the principle of raw material efficiency, ensured rapid on-site assembly. Expect to see a 260-meter-(853 ft) long educational trail, with views of Osaka Bay, and a multifunctional auditorium that will offer a rich program throughout the entire exhibition. A must-visit for anyone passionate about architecture and environmental stewardship. 🌱 World Expo 2025 is Osaka opened on April 13 and you can visit until October 2025. 👉 Read more about the Czech Pavilion: https://lnkd.in/e_wSCzyZ 📷 Photo: ©Office of the Czech Commissioner General, EXPO 2025, Apropos Architects / Stora Enso Partner: A2 Timber #masstimberconstruction #sustainableconstruction

  • Enter the magnificent Høyt Under Taket Climbing Centre in Norway! 🧗 The brief for this building was unique: to construct an indoor climbing centre entirely out of wood, starting from the concrete foundation. Inside, it would need to accommodate plenty of open space, both vertically and horizontally. 🌲⛰️ Architects at Snøhetta and structural engineers at Degree of Freedom were ready to tackle the mission! Thanks to a collaborative and open-minded design effort by a team passionate about both mass timber and creative solutions, Høyt Under Taket successfully met the project demands. 🤝 Another reason why the end product proved both eye-catching and fit for purpose was our Sylva™ CLT Rib Floors and Roofs. The concept of using frames to create a ‘cave feeling’ in the main hall influenced the ceiling design and, in most parts of the building, limited the spans to six metres. Prefabricated Sylva CLT Rib was a logical fit in two parts of the building where long spans and space considerations presented challenges. 👉 Take a look at the illustrations visualising the structure below and read more about this extraordinary building: https://lnkd.in/er6xY26d Photo 1: Eirik Evjen Photo 2: Snøhetta
