And, with Wave Ventures and Slush in the same building, the path to funding will be more accessible from day one. Yes, the rumors are true. We’re moving in under the same roof this year. But that’s not all. If you still haven’t heard about FR8, listen closely. Based on the Aalto University campus, this hacker hotel gives exceptional tech talent the space and resources to focus on ambitious projects. Its latest cohort is underway, and last summer’s batch has already reached a combined valuation of over €100 million. Last week, Noora, Charlotte (Coci), and Santtu from the Slush Team went to London. We wanted to start the year early and be intentional about connecting with the ecosystem outside Helsinki. One of our highlights was hosting an AI Demo Night, where eight current and aspiring founders showcased the AI projects they've been working on. The format was simple and focused on substance, with honest questions and direct feedback from the room.
