Would you play a game made by a Car Mechanic? A few months ago we launched the Bitmagic Game Lab program, where we wanted to prove that ANYONE could create games. No industry experience needed. We got applications from people with many different backgrounds and professions. One thing these people all had in common, was their creativity. The games made by Bitmagic Lab members blew us away. We were overwhelmed by the results of how engaging and detailed the games were. Many are beyond what we imagined would even be possible with Bitmagic, but our users have been very clever. If there's a will, there's a way. Here's a display of the games made by people who never made games before.

I’ll never forget the feeling of building my first game with Gary Kitchen’s GameMaker on the Commodore 64. That same sense of “anything is possible” came back while creating my latest touch-typing games with BitMagic.AI The tooling has changed, but the creative loop feels familiar. The main difference now is discipline: you have to pace yourself, because AI lets you iterate faster than your energy can keep up. Here's a brand new showreel of the latest game projects running on Bitmagic! Everything you see in the video is real. Prompted on Bitmagic, recorded live on my laptop, non-edited. I'm amazed by the variety but I'm also really happy to see that even though it's very easy to start building on Bitmagic, we're so far avoiding so called "AI slop". A pattern we're seeing is that someone creates a game and shares it to our Discord community (and usually their friends also). Then, they go back and iterate. They improve the game and release an update. Sometimes dozens of updates. This seems to indicate that even if AI tools make it easy to create, real creators still care about quality and want to keep pushing for better and better results. This makes me very happy. Pease enjoy the video and if I can ask for a favor - share it to your friends. We have a good loyal following, but only about 0% of people have heard of Bitmagic so far. That is about to change in the near future and you can be the one who breaks the news in your circles! (LinkedIn is not a real customer acquisition channel for us, but I've been surprised by some folks who found us through my LI posts and started building cool new projects!)
