How to port a fax number to Dropbox Fax

This article describes a feature that’s only available to Dropbox Fax users living in the US or Canada.
If you want to port your fax number over to Dropbox Fax, you need to check if it’s eligible.
To do so:
1. Log in to your Dropbox Fax account.
2. Click Teams in the left sidebar.
3. Click Port numbers.
4. Enter your fax number in the pop-up box, then click Port to Dropbox Fax.
If your number is eligible, you’ll receive an email telling you what to do next. Follow the prompts to proceed with porting your fax number to Dropbox Fax.
If your number isn’t eligible, you’ll see an error message.
Notes:
- If you’re eligible, we’ll send the email to the email address you used to log in to your account. If you don't see an error message and don’t receive an email from us, contact support@hellofax.com for help.
- If you live outside the US or Canada, we won’t be able to port your number.
- If eligible, there’s a $60 USD charge for each line ported into Dropbox Fax.
