Sunny’s Journey to Osaka

CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW

To bring the Singapore Pavilion experience closer to home, STB will launch the origami campaign. In collaboration with the Nippon Origami Association, a specially designed ‘Sunny’ origami has been created.  Inspired by the crimson sunbird native to Singapore, this dream messenger invites everyone to share their expressions of hope and dreams for the future. 

Campaign Period: 09:00 on 13 April to 23:59 on 13 May 2025 
Open exclusively to Singapore residents only.

THE DREAM MESSENGER
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CONTEST CONDUCTED BY GRVTY MEDIA PTE LTD
(“THE DAILY KETCHUP”)

Eligibility and Submission

    1. This contest is only open to Singapore residents aged 21 years and above.
 
    1. This contest is hosted by The Daily Ketchup (GRVTY MEDIA PTE LTD) and the giveaway is proudly sponsored by Singapore Tourism Board.
 
  2. Each participant is only allowed one submission. Multiple entries will lead to immediate disqualification of the participant.
 
  1. To qualify, participants must submit a clear photo of their origami creation along with a caption expressing their dreams and well wishes.
 

Prize Details and Obligations

  1. By participating in this giveaway, all entrants acknowledge and agree that the selected winner will be required to publish at least one public Instagram post documenting their travel experience to Expo 2025, Osaka, Kansai, Japan as a condition for accepting and redeeming the prize.
The post must:
  1. Be published within 14 days after the trip
  2. Tag @visit_singapore and prize sponsor’s official social account (details to be announced later).
  3. Include the hashtag #WhereDreamsTakeShape #SGexpo2025Japan (details to be announced later).
  4. Contain a caption that is authentic and relevant to the trip experience
  1. The winner will receive the following prize
  1. Return economy airfare for 2
  2. 4 day 3 night accommodation in Osaka for 2
  3. A pair of entry tickets to World Expo 2025, Osaka, Kansai, Japan
  4. Fast Pass Entry to the Singapore Pavilion for 2
  5. One Merli Goodie Bag
  1. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash and/or any item or otherwise, either partially or wholly. There shall be no refund or exchange for any partially used or unused prize.
 
    1. The prize cannot be decoupled and the winner must complete travel plans (including the visit to the Singapore Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan) by 30 September 2025.
     
    1. Terms and conditions and blackout dates for redemption apply.
     
    1. Any dispute regarding the prize or its usability shall be resolved between the winner and We. Communications Singapore without reference to The Daily Ketchup.
 

Selection

    1. The Daily Ketchup reserves full discretion in selecting the winner and disqualifying submissions.
     
  2. Irrelevant entries and users engaging in misconduct within the thread will be permanently removed from the community. Offenders may be reported to the authorities.
 
  1. All submissions must be of original work, free from third-party claims, appropriate for the public, and not contain offensive, inappropriate, or copyrighted material.
 
  1. The contest is open from 09:00 on 13 April to 23:59 on 13 May 2025 and only submissions submitted within this period qualify for consideration.
 
  1. The winner will be selected by The Daily Ketchup based on the most creative entry – the most impressive photo submission coupled with the most inspiring caption describing your dreams and aspirations.
 
  1. The winner will be notified by The Daily Ketchup within 7 days of the close of the contest via social media or email.
 
  1. The winner must acknowledge and accept the prize from The Daily Ketchup within 7 days from the point of notification.
 
  1. In the event of no response within the 7-day period, The Daily Ketchup reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
 
  1. The winning entry will be published on Telegram within 7 days of prize acceptance.
 
  1. The winner will be directed by The Daily Ketchup to We. Communications Singapore for prize redemption.
 
  1. The Daily Ketchup reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the contest due to unforeseen circumstances.
 

Travel Specifics

  1. The winner will be responsible for all matters outside of the prize defined above, including the following:
    1. Necessary travel documents, such as a valid passport with minimum 6 months validity
  1. Travel insurance
  2. Personal expenses and belongings
 

Privacy and Data Protection

  1. By participating in this contest, all participants consent to the collection and use of their personal data for the purposes of the contest and for future promotional materials and retained for 6 years as required by regulations.
