The era of multiple-choice talent is over. If you look at the history of talent assessment, it is essentially a history of trying to turn human beings into efficient data rows. First, the IQ test. Then, the personality tests (corporate astrology). Finally, gamified logic puzzles. The common failure mode? The Proxy Problem. We ask employees to sit in a vacuum, pick ‘A’ or ‘B,’ and claim this predicts how they will navigate complex ambiguity. It’s bad science. We are witnessing a paradigm shift from Inference (guessing capability) to Evidence (observing capability). Most platforms rely on self-reported data. Wiselook flips the axis. We use Conversational Assessments to engage participants in open-ended scenarios. The old paradigm asked: "Who is this person?"
