Big milestone for energy storage in Chile 🇨🇱⚡ We’re proud to announce a landmark supply agreement with Sungrow for the Sonnedix Librillo BESS Project. A 643.8 MWh standalone battery energy storage system powered by Sungrow’s PowerTitan 2.0 solution, with delivery and installation scheduled for Q1 2027. This marks the first battery storage collaboration between Sonnedix and Sungrow, building on years of successful solar partnerships. As our Chief Engineering Officer Jorge Amiano Goyarrola shared: “Sungrow’s global presence and technical expertise make it the ideal partner to further expand our storage capabilities and continue delivering reliable and sustainable energy solutions.” Projects like Librillo BESS will help enable night-time renewable power supply, strengthen grid reliability, and accelerate Chile’s clean energy transition. 🌱 A big thank you to the Sungrow team for their partnership and expertise. Our Italian team is moving from strength to strength! 👏   We’re pleased to announce the COD of Ponte Barca in Sicily, a 32.6MW project. It has been an exciting start to the year for our Italian portfolio, having announced in March that we surpassed 1GW of operating capacity. Alongside our expanding capacity, we are advancing the hybridisation of our portfolio, with Ponte Barca, leading the charge. ⚡ 32.6MW of operating capacity. 🔋 The plant will be hybridised with a BESS system of 10MW currently under development. 🏡 Ponte Barca will generate 62GWh of renewable electricity annually, enough to power 24,000 homes! 🌿 Located in Catania, Sicily, the project supports the local area’s decarbonisation efforts.   Italy's portfolio continues to accelerate, keeping us on track to reach 2GW of capacity by 2028.   #PoweringABrightFuture #SonnedixItaly

🌞 Sonnedix Acail is now operational! We are proud to announce that our solar PV plant in Ovar, Aveiro (Portugal) has reached COD, an important milestone in our continued growth in the Portuguese market. With ⚡ 28.3MW added to our portfolio, Sonnedix Portugal now has 330MW in operation across #Portugal. What makes Acail especially significant is its hybrid-ready design, combining solar PV with a co-located BESS currently under commissioning. Once the BESS reaches COD, targeted for the end of July, Sonnedix Acail will become our first utility-scale hybrid solar + storage asset worldwide. 🏆 A huge thank you to all Sonnedix teams and local partners who helped make this achievement possible. #OneTeam, one goal 👏 #SonnedixPortugal

Some snapshots from our participation at #SolarPowerSummit2026 last week, a key event for Europe’s energy transition, organised by SolarPower Europe. ⚡ As an event partner, #Sonnedix was proud to contribute through the participation of our Chief Commercial Officer, Gregorio Morales Schmid, speaking on a panel about industrial electrification and the policy, investment and infrastructure needed to deliver it at scale. The discussions highlighted solar’s role in Europe’s energy security and competitiveness, as well as the growing importance of storage and grid flexibility. We are also proud of our ongoing engagement through Juan M. Fernandez, our Chief Operating Officer, who represents the company on SolarPower Europe’s Board, alongside our Regulatory team, Alessandra De Zottis, Domenico Biasi and Filip Pelc, who work closely with the association. ⚡2025 marked a tipping point: fossil generation is falling and solar is scaling   Amidst the current uncertainty in energy markets, Ember's recent Electricity Review points to a clear shift in direction, and it's solar that's leading the charge.   In 2025, solar alone met 75% of the increase in global electricity demand.   🔋As solar scales, flexibility is becoming the main constraint, and while battery deploying is accelerating, a meaningful gap remains. 🌍In 2025, the world added enough new battery capacity to shift 14% of new solar generation, up from 13% in 2024 and just 5% in 2022. 👉 As more power systems reach high daytime solar shares, storage will be critical to shifting clean electricity into non-sunny hours, reducing fossil generation and sustaining solar expansion.   At Sonnedix, this is where we are directing our focus. By combining solar with storage, we are building smarter, more flexible systems to deliver power when it’s needed most.   Some of our most recent milestones, including our first hybrid BESS projects and hybrid PPAs in Iberia and Portugal, highlight how this strategy is moving into action.   #IndustrySpotlight #Solar #Ember
