Please use the English-language formatter URL: https://www.leopoldina.org/en/members/member-list/detail/$1/ instead of the German-language: https://www.leopoldina.org/mitglieder/mitgliederverzeichnis/detail/$1/ Luamssuk (talk) 00:25, 14 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Done: The German-language URL should be used, since parts of the English-language profiles appear to be incomplete. Example: German: https://www.leopoldina.org/mitglieder/mitgliederverzeichnis/detail/wilhelm-barthlott English: https://www.leopoldina.org/en/members/member-list/detail/wilhelm-barthlott Luamssuk (talk) 00:50, 14 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei ID (P14091)

[edit]

The Wikidata property is P14091. This academy has 3,178 members (records), including the past ones.

I tried to add it to Module:Authority control/config/sandbox but for some reason the pattern doesn't work; it should appear after P10299. Ilaria.bonincontro (talk) 11:27, 4 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

  • And here how it looks like:

Don't know if that's a typical link, but there is very limited information given — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 15:49, 4 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
The site seems to be in the state of expansion. Another example:

  • Support Comparable to Leopoldina, ADK, Academia Europeana. Grimes2 16:19, 4 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment (I don't put "Support" because I have been actively involved in creating the ID and in adding it systematically to Wikidata) IMHO it contains the same amount of data as the IDs of other scientific academies, as Leopoldina, and it has a national relevance in Italy. --Epìdosis 07:35, 20 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

DBA ID (P4992)

[edit]

Could DBA ID (P4992) be added to the template? It links to the Nouveau Dictionnaire de Biographie Alsacienne for famous people connected with Alsace. The ID is simply appended to https://www.alsace-histoire.org/netdba/ to make a URL. Chuntuk (talk) 11:03, 16 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

We have in the past rejected sub-national databases which only cover one particular region. There are 1749 uses of DBA ID (P4992) — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 16:10, 17 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Goodreads author?

[edit]

If we have Librarything for authors we might as well have Goodreads. It has a pretty alright and comprehensive catalog of authors. PARAKANYAA (talk) 01:02, 24 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]
