Esports is already growing, with 72+ million gamers in MENA playing on #mobile today. The real catalyst is utilizing touch points and meeting them on the platforms they already use. In the #UAE, #KSA, and #Egypt alone (MENA-3), the audience is expected to exceed 80 million by 2029, showing that mobile isn’t an alternative channel, but the region’s dominant #gaming platform, driving both participation and revenue. That’s why mobile #esports is no longer a community play, but a #business growth gateway that can not be left unnoticed. At Esports Summit (ESS), built and operated by FWZ, we took an initiative to translate this shift into execution through the #EAFC Mobile Official #Tournament at ESS 2025, the largest official offline EAFC Mobile competition in the region. Designed with professional standards and structured #competition, it proved that mobile can deliver both competitive integrity and commercial value. Which also caught the attention of Samsung Mobile that joined as the exclusive mobile partner, creating a live case study on how mobile brands can authentically connect with gaming audiences, at scale and with measurable impact. For mobile manufacturers and #telecom companies, the same gateway offers an opportunity for further reach, relevance, and engagement, delivered through this widespread platform. Esports doesn’t grow by adding more formats. It grows by including more #gamers and meeting them where they already are.

We have always believed in the power and potential of the esports community, and Esports Summit (ESS) 2025 was a great demonstration of that! For two days, over 10,000 gamers and esports enthusiasts gathered under one roof to celebrate their passion and love for esports in an event that acted as a communication gateway between them and regional and global brands. Powered by Samsung Electronics, ESS achieved new heights and featured first-time milestones and tournaments... all in partnership with WATCH IT, Red Bull, AMD, and EA SPORTS. A fully immersive experience like this, the Summit would not have been complete without our ESS App that was fully developed in-house and got over 19,000 downloads. Not to mention our digital presence where we reached more than 54 million people and got over 59 million views.
