jMRI: jMunch Retrieval Interface Specification

jMRI (jMunch Retrieval Interface) is an open interface specification for retrieval MCP servers. It defines four operations (discover, search, retrieve, metadata), a response envelope, stable identifier formats, and two compliance levels (Core and Full). The spec is the substrate jcodemunch-mcp / jdocmunch-mcp / jdatamunch-mcp implement, and the reference any third-party MCP retrieval tool can be measured against via the bundled conformance suite.
