We’ve laid out plans to build a new factory in Scotland! The proposed facility would produce nacelles and hubs for our flagship offshore wind turbine, the V236‑15.0 MW. This expanded capacity will help us meet growing demand for offshore wind in the United Kingdom and Europe, while creating 500 skilled direct jobs and strengthening the local value chain. Offshore wind remains one of our greatest opportunities to deliver affordable electricity, stronger energy security, and high‑quality local jobs at scale. We look forward to working closely with our partners and customers to help the UK reach its clean power targets and bolster long‑term energy independence. We will continue discussions with the UK Government and the Scottish Government on the next steps to develop and co‑invest in the facility. Large‑scale wind investments continue to return to Brazil 🇧🇷 🤝 Equinor, through its subsidiary Rio Energy, is acquiring the 230 MW Esquina do Vento Wind Project, located in Rio Grande do Norte in northeast Brazil. The project – which will consist of 51 V163‑4.5 MW turbines – is expected to generate enough clean energy to power approximately 520,000 homes across Brazil. ⚡🏡 Esquina do Vento was fully developed by Vestas Development, which by the end of 2025 had developed a 28 GW global project pipeline. 🌍 Thank you to Equinor and Rio Energy for the continued collaboration and trust. The EnVentus V172‑7.2 MW™ receives its IECRE Type Certificate. Achieving the IECRE Type Certificate is a key milestone for the V172‑7.2 MW™, providing independent verification that the turbine meets internationally recognised requirements for safety, quality and reliability. This milestone builds on a strong first year of commercial operation for our 7+ MW platform. To date, more than 2 GW have been sold, underlining strong market uptake. With this foundation in place, we are now gearing up to scale deployment and bring the EnVentus V172‑7.2 MW™ to more projects across global markets.

More offshore wind is on the way for the United Kingdom. 🌬️🇬🇧 We’ve received a new 1.38 GW firm order from our partner RWE for the Vanguard East offshore wind project. The order includes 92 of our V236 turbines and follows the firm order for Vanguard West confirmed in February. For 25 years, we have supported the UK’s offshore wind journey, and we are proud to help drive progress toward more affordable energy and its 2030 clean power targets. 200 GW of wind: From kWs to MWs Our first wind turbine generated 30 kW. Today, our onshore turbines deliver up to 7.2 megawatts. That's more than 200 times the output of where we started. Together with our customers and partners, we have reached 200 GW installed worldwide. Think about that shift. From one 30 kW turbine proving that wind could work, to 200 GW, helping power national grids. 200 GW is proof that wind energy works and is embedded in energy systems globally. But that scale also comes with responsibility: thinking beyond generation, at a system level. Wind strengthens energy security and sustainability, and it drives competitive electricity prices. If 30 kW was the beginning, 200 GW is only the baseline for what comes next. #Vestas200GW

⚡ All 242 wind turbines are now installed at SunZia. Just one year after starting project delivery, we’ve reached this major milestone. SunZia Wind and Transmission, developed by our partners, Pattern Energy is a huge energy infrastructure project. It is the largest US onshore project to date where we’ve supplied our wind turbines. Beyond scale, SunZia is about impact: ☑️ Hundreds of jobs supported across our US factories, offices, and on-site. ☑️ Trusted partnerships with local suppliers and communities. ☑️ Advanced technology delivering local, reliable, and affordable energy. Once connected, Vestas’ turbines at SunZia will provide enough electricity to power around 320,000 US households, nearly 800,000 people, roughly the population of San Francisco. Building on the momentum from the UK’s AR7 offshore wind auction. We’re pleased to announce a 1.38 GW firm order from RWE for the Vanguard West offshore wind project, located in the North Sea off the coast of the UK. Vanguard West will feature 92 of our flagship V236 offshore turbines and further strengthens our partnership with RWE as we advance offshore wind in Europe.
