  • We’re happy to share that d line’s exhibition A Life in Design is featured in the Dezeen events guide during 3daysofdesign. The exhibition explores the work and legacy of Knud Holscher through a curated selection from his personal archive, offering a reflection on design shaped by observation, use and continuity. Since developing the first coordinated line of architectural hardware for d line in 1971, Holscher’s design language has remained at the heart of who we are - rooted in clarity, function and material honesty. • What makes us proud at d line? It’s the care behind every detail. The craftsmanship that makes our products last. The trust we build with each other and the people we work with. It’s our belief that good design should do more than function beautifully - it should have a positive impact on the world around us. From responsible material choices to long-lasting solutions, we are constantly striving to do better for both people and the environment. But above all, it’s the culture. The transparency, the respect and the shared ambition to lead the way - not only in design and sustainability, but in how we work together every day.

  • During 3daysofdesign, we invite you to step into a quiet reflection on design as a lived practice. The exhibition A Life in Design presents the work and legacy of Danish architect and industrial designer Knud Holscher (1930–2025), whose contribution forms an integral part of the Danish modern design tradition. In 1971, Holscher developed the first coordinated line of architectural hardware for d line, establishing a design language rooted in clarity, function and material honesty. At the core of the exhibition is a curated selection drawn from Holscher’s personal archive. Through photographs, prototypes and visual notes - many created by Holscher himself - the exhibition explores a lifetime in design shaped by observation, use and continuity.  We look forward to welcoming you. Meet Claus Dennis, our Scandinavian Sales Manager at d line. Claus has a way of bringing good energy into the office, always meeting colleagues and partners with openness. In his role, he works closely with architects, developers and contractors across Scandinavia, offering guidance early in the process and helping shape solutions that hold up over time. When asked what defines d line, Claus puts it simply: Conviction. “d line is defined by a strong set of values, a clear design philosophy, and a brand that has stayed true to itself over time. It’s about longevity, simplicity, and responsibility - not as statements, but as something embedded in every product and decision.” Whether working on healthcare facilities or hospitality projects, Claus values the dialogue behind each project and the shared effort it takes to bring ideas into reality. At d line, it is people like Claus who make our work feel both thoughtful and grounded.

  • This Japanese-inspired garden studio in California, designed by ONO, is a quiet composition of light, proportion and material. A place where architecture frames moments of pause and connection with the surrounding landscape. In a setting like this, details matter. Our Fat lever handles, created in collaboration with Tom Dixon, bring a soft yet confident presence to the space. Their distinctive inflated profile complements the restrained palette while adding a tactile point of interaction within the minimalistic surroundings.
