💙 Meet & Greet 2025 👋 During the Welcome Fair, it might be slightly overwhelming to talk to so many different societies and learn about what they do. 🧐 Hence, we hosted this Meet & Greet, which was joined by over 150 new and returning members! 🎉 We began this evening with our President, Emily Yang, who introduced the committee and gave an overview of MedTech UCL, outlining our flagship programmes and their timelines. 🤩 A key highlight of the night was hearing from our guest speakers. 😎 Tristan Derry, co-founder of Orbion Connect, shared his journey into MedTech and offered invaluable advice for students aspiring to enter the industry. ✨ We also welcomed Mads Bundgaard Nørløv, founder and board member of Copenhagen MedTech, who spoke about the international opportunities available to London-based students through our collaboration. 🇩🇰🤝🇬🇧 The evening concluded with great conversations over Japanese and Thai food, generously provided by our sponsors Rosa's Thai and Nazuki Garden. 🍱 It was the perfect way to wrap up a fantastic Freshers’ period for the society. 🌟 Between multiple Welcome Fairs, Games Social, Pub Crawl with seven engineering societies and a Pub Quiz with UCL Anatomy Society and UCL Science Magazine, our committee has loved meeting so many of you! 😍
