Locate Apple Watch with a dead battery

You can try to use the FindMy app on your iPhone to view the last known location, which may show up for up to 24 hours after the battery dies. Unfortunately, if that is not helpful, your only option is to retrace your steps and physically search for the watch. Good luck.

Depleted battery means no radios means no communications means no Find My.

Options: none good. Visual or tactile searches, metal detection, scent dog, Ouija board, or everybody’s “favorite” way to find something: buy a replacement, and where the original will somehow immediately stop hiding.
