How to use the spacebar to play a song in the Music app on Tahoe

I am using the Music app on an M1 Macbook Pro on Tahoe 26.3. The spacebar doesn't pause or play a song unless the pause/play button in the controls window is highlighted. If one of the other controls (shuffle, next track, previous track, and repeat) is highlighted, the spacebar operates that control instead. That UI does not match the keyboard shortcuts in the menu or in the help documentation for keyboard shortcuts. Is this a bug or an intended (but undocumented) feature?

Note that control highlighting can be changed by hitting the tab or shirt-tab key.

Hi, I guess your focus is not at the controls in case you can not play/pause a track by hitting the spacebar.

If your focus is in example at a search input or something else, a spacebar hit must result in something different, like a blank, it can not act as a play/pause - button there.

This is always present if your focus is in a different application / window.
