Shipping production AI on a single server where every deploy causes downtime is a problem that only gets worse as you scale. The Applied AI team knew it and rebuilt it from the ground up. Every deployment meant SSHing in, pulling code, bringing Docker down and back up. While it restarted, the service was offline. One crash and the entire stack went down with it. The rebuild meant Terraform for infrastructure as code, ECS Fargate for containerised deploys and AWS Inspector scanning as a hard gate before anything ships.
