- [Instructor] Part 4, Key Word Transformations. Part 4 is all about finding synonyms. In this activity, you'll be given a sentence, a key word, and a second sentence with a blank in the middle. Use the given word to complete the second sentence so that it has a similar meaning to the first. Unlike Part 3, you cannot change the provided word this time. There are six sentences in total. For example, you might see the sentence, I can't afford to go on holiday, along with a key word "enough." Think about it. What could fit here? Maybe you guessed it. I don't have enough money to go on holiday. You'll need to write three to six words to complete the blank. It's a bit like a puzzle, but with a good understanding of typical grammatical structures and knowledge of synonyms, you'll nail it. You can practice this by paraphrasing anything you read in your own words. There's always more than one way to say something.
