Financial Controller – Frankfurt
An exciting newly created opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join a globally recognised organisation based in Frankfurt. This role is ideal for a finance professional with multisite experience within the hospitality or retail sectors, looking to take the next step in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day financial reporting and operational finance activities
Prepare monthly financial statements, forecasts, and variance analysis
Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy and timeliness
Monitor cash handling processes, including safeguarding of cash floats
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and audit packs
Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and statutory requirements
Supervise and support a junior finance team in transactional processes
Analyse monthly performance, KPIs, and departmental cost control
Lead annual budgeting processes and partner with operations teams
Prepare cash flow reports for corporate reporting within strict deadlines
Act as Finance lead for internal and external property audits
Serve as the main point of contact for banking relationships
Manage VAT returns and local tax compliance (including City tax)
Support statutory reporting and broader compliance requirements
About You:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a financial management role
Experience supervising or mentoring a small finance team
Background in hospitality or retail with multisite exposure preferred
Strong business partnering skills with non-financial stakeholders
Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a global organisation
