Absynth's original creator Brian Clevinger joins NI's Hannah Lockwood on the Auditorium Stage Thursday at 4pm to tell the full story — the making of it, the mythology around it, and what comes next. If you've ever lost an afternoon to an Absynth patch, this one's for you. We're also bringing hands-on demos of iZotope RX 12, the latest look at Massive X, and a new NKS integration that lets you click less and play more. Full schedule below. See you in Berlin. 🎛️

Absynth 6 is here! Today marks the return of a legendary semi-modular synthesiser; a tool that changed how producers think about sound design, and still inspires boundary-pushing music decades later. Built for textures that transform and breathe, it invites you to shape sounds that feel alive and entirely your own. The hybrid engine goes deep for complex sound design, while staying intuitive enough for anyone exploring cinematic cues, ambient soundscapes, or electronic productions. Absynth 6 arrives with full MPE and polyphonic aftertouch, surround support, legacy patch compatibility, and a new AI-powered Preset Explorer that lets you navigate the library by timbre and feel. With original developer Brian Clevinger, and new artist presets from Brian Eno, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith and Richard Devine, it carries forward a unique legacy with new possibilities. Thank you to the teams across Native Instruments who brought this release to life; your craft sits at the heart of Absynth's evolution. Weird by design, and ready for a new generation of explorers. Lagos is one of Africa’s most influential music capitals, home to a generation of #producers pushing #culture forward. Our new documentary, 72hrs in Lagos, follows three rising #creators — Saszy Afroshii, TinyBraz, and Gbots — as they navigate their craft, build community, and shape their own #sound. The film follows the producer track within the Leading Vibe Initiative, founded by GRAMMY Award-winning artist and Native Instruments Artist Board member, Tems, to support and amplify #women in #music through mentorship, training, and access to professional-grade tools. Women remain significantly underrepresented in production roles. This project is about widening the pathway, opening doors, and giving young producers the support they need to thrive. We’re proud to support Tems on this mission and to shine a light on the talent shaping the future of music. 72hrs in Lagos is streaming now on our YouTube channel: https://lnkd.in/eKRKRsKR
