Hapag-Lloyd and DSV - Global Transport and Logistics are taking the next step in decarbonizing ocean freight. 🌍⚓️ We’ve signed a two-year Ship Green framework agreement covering 18,000 tonnes CO₂e (well-to-wake) of Scope 3 emission reductions, generated through the use of sustainable marine fuels in our fleet starting in 2026. Building on our biofuel collaboration since 2022, this agreement is also the first of its kind to allow the inclusion of alternative fuels, a strong signal for scalable, future-ready decarbonization.
