Sustainability is no longer just a reporting topic. It is becoming a key management driver. In a challenging market environment and amid rising regulatory requirements, our 2025 Sustainability Report shows how we are systematically embedding environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles across the company. What does this mean in practice? ▪️98 % renewable electricity in production ▪️Progress in international sustainability ratings ▪️Increased use of recyclable and circular materials in our packaging and products ▪️ A focus on water- and energy-efficient solutions For us, sustainability is not just an aspiration. We make it operational and measurable. At the same time, we continue to invest in our role as an employer. Learning and development, health, and family-friendliness remain key priorities. This is also reflected in a stable employee satisfaction rate of 81%. Another step forward: Although we are not required to report under CSRD until 2027, we are already aligning our processes with its requirements today. This enables us to increase transparency, strengthen our management capabilities, and prepare early for upcoming obligations. More information: https://lnkd.in/d5k4fibu

Jaenecke, who did not stand for re-election due to having reached the statutory age limit. Jonathon J. Nudi is President & CEO of Masco Corporation and has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Hansgrohe SE since last year. Klaus Jaenecke had served on the Supervisory Board of Hansgrohe SE since March 2014 and was elected Chairman in April 2015. Through his many years of experience in corporate strategy, development, and planning, he made a significant contribution to the company’s success. “I am proud to have supported and accompanied the growth trajectory of Hansgrohe SE over so many years,” said Klaus F. Jaenecke. “Helping to shape the positive transformation of the company—toward greater internationalization, increased sustainability, and the development into a full bathroom solutions provider—has been both an honor and a pleasure for me.” “On behalf of the Supervisory Board, I would like to thank Klaus F. Jaenecke for more than 12 years of dedicated and tireless service on the Supervisory Board of Hansgrohe,” said Jon Nudi. “In his role as Chairman, Klaus F. Jaenecke contributed significantly to Hansgrohe’s success not only through his proven expertise, but also through his strong character and leadership. We wish him all the very best in his future endeavors.” Richard Westenberg joins the Supervisory Board of Hansgrohe SE as successor to Klaus F. Jaenecke and was elected Deputy Chairman. Westenberg is Vice President, CFO & Treasurer of Masco Corporation. As Jai Shah, Group President of Masco’s Plumbing and Wellness business, retires, he is also stepping down from the Supervisory Board. Kenneth G. Cole, Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of Masco Corporation, has been appointed as his successor on the Supervisory Board of Hansgrohe SE. The remaining members of the Supervisory Board remain unchanged: Richard Grohe (grandson of company founder Hans Grohe and representative of Verwaltungs- und Beteiligungs-GmbH Syngroh), Hülya Inciroglu (elected employee representative, Hansgrohe SE), and Jürgen Nähr (elected employee representative, Hansgrohe SE). How it all began… Klaus Grohe is many things: entrepreneur, perfectionist, family man. But above all, he is one thing – tireless. Born in 1937, the third son of company founder Hans Grohe shaped the company like no other. With curiosity, drive and unconventional ideas, he leads Hansgrohe to international success. Klaus Grohe does not grow up in the Executive Board Room, but gains practical experience in production and internships abroad. Even during the holidays, he works in the workshop, tinkering and learning the craft from scratch. In 1968, he joined the company as head of organization. A short time later, he took over the sales management and focused on direct customer contact. His recipe for success: listening, understanding and acting.

As part of our company’s 125th anniversary, our employees in China and their families came together for a shared celebration with more than 700 guests! 🎉 The event featured a varied program for all generations and centered on what matters most: coming together, celebrating as one, and strengthening a sense of belonging across teams and families. Our Chinese colleagues are an essential part of the Hansgrohe Group’s global success. Many thanks to the local team for their creativity and dedication in making this celebration special! 👏 The anniversary year continues, with the next highlight already ahead: our summer festival in Schiltach, in the heart of the Black Forest. 🌲

How it all began… Hans Grohe Senior, his sons and grandsons have shaped the Hansgrohe company over many decades. Whether first-born, latecomer or the generation of grandchildren: they all have a decisive influence on the course of the company's history from a small craft business to a global player in the sanitary industry. On April 3, 1937, Klaus, the youngest son of the company founder, was born. He was destined for an entrepreneurial career from birth: From childhood, Klaus' life revolved around the company. He was self-taught, tinkered and experimented, and gained practical experience. He began his actual career at the company in 1968 at age 31. Klaus Grohe first took over management and became Chairman of the Board in 1977. Klaus' two eldest sons, Richard and Philippe, continued the family tradition: The founder’s grandchildren grew up with the company, learning the business from the ground up – not just in theory, but through daily experience in various areas.
