⚓ Special call in Andernach Recently, the H&S Wisdom loaded in Andernach – the first coastal motor vessel operated by HSW to load there again in nine years. What makes this operation particularly remarkable: The vessel loaded during the current low water situation on the Rhine and far inland, despite the typically deeper draft compared to inland barges. On Saturday, the HSL team took on the Mammutmarsch in the Ruhr region – completing an impressive 42 kilometers on foot. 🏅   What truly stood out: endurance, team spirit, and the determination to cross the finish line together. Drone View: Ireland’s Reawakened Limerick–Foynes Rail Line  A spectacular drone video now showcases the 42 km reactivation of the #RailwayLine connecting Limerick with the Port of Foynes – bringing freight trains back to the route for the first time in more than two decades. Leonhard Moll Betonwerke contributed to this milestone project by supplying 65,000 prestressed #ConcreteSleepers (type IR08) for Irish Rail (Iarnród Éireann). The sleepers were manufactured at our plant in Neuss and transported to Ireland via a sophisticated logistics chain by road and sea – delivered in close collaboration with our logistics partner, Haeger & Schmidt Logistics. The aerial footage highlights the scale of the revitalised line that will soon reconnect the Port of Foynes to Ireland’s #NationalRailNetwork.
