💡 Is the energy industry ready to move beyond a slow, linear way of operating? Our President and CEO, Julian Nebreda, recently joined Wood Mackenzie's “Energy Gang” to discuss how that that old rhythm no longer works. Electricity demand is rising fast—driven by AI, data centers, and electrification—and the grid needs a fundamentally new operating model to keep up. The solution? Battery storage. Julian explains that batteries aren't just replacements for traditional generation; they are the "system optimizers" that allow for a faster, more intelligent grid. ⚡ Speed-to-Power: Deploying critical capacity in months, not years. 📈 Decoupled Demand: Breaking the link between generation and consumption. 🔑 Asset Efficiency: Enabling every other grid asset to perform at its peak. The transition from a "slow" grid to a "fast" grid is no longer a technical choice. It’s an economic necessity. We welcome the U.S. Treasury’s release of initial guidance on the Prohibited Foreign Entity (PFE) restrictions under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA). For the energy storage industry, this is an important and much-needed step forward. The guidance provides greater clarity on how projects and manufacturers can comply with the new requirements, helping reduce uncertainty at a critical moment for deployment. Based on our initial review, the framework aligns with how we have interpreted the statute and confirms a practical path forward. For our customers, that means more confidence in navigating Investment Tax Credit compliance. Our domestic content product portfolio and robust U.S. supply chain are built to support exactly that—delivering a clear, reliable path to compliance as projects move ahead. We will continue engaging constructively as Treasury advances the rulemaking process. 🔗 Learn more about the guidance: https://lnkd.in/eWd6J46D

⚡ The massive growth of AI is creating unprecedented demand for power. How can the grid keep up? Our Chief Growth Officer, Jeff Monday, recently spoke with S&P Global about the pivotal role of battery energy storage in solving this challenge. As Jeff explains, storage acts as a "shock absorber," stabilizing the grid and enabling the rapid, reliable deployment of data centers. From speeding up interconnection queues to providing revenue-generating grid services, energy storage is uniquely positioned to help hyperscalers and utilities meet growing power needs while supporting a more resilient energy future. Extreme winter weather is pushing the U.S. power grid to its limits this week. With record-breaking electricity demand straining power plants and transmission infrastructure, grid operators are warning that the system is operating on a razor's edge. In these moments, the critical role of battery storage in maintaining reliability and controlling costs is becoming undeniable. It's the unsung hero working behind the scenes to keep the lights on and energy costs under control. As our Chief Customer Success Officer, John Zahurancik, recently explained to The New York Times: “Once you keep the lights on, how much did it cost to keep the lights on? Storage gives us a way to do that more cost effectively.” This isn’t just a theory. As the New York Times reported, in Texas and California, battery storage has been a game changer during extreme weather, helping ensure power is there when we need it most. Storage has stepped in to prevent blackouts, curb price spikes, and reduce the need to fire up expensive power sources. During Winter Storm Fern, our customers’ storage assets injected approximately 690 MWs of instantaneous power to help maintain grid stability in Texas—enough to support more than half a million homes when it mattered most. As our energy needs continue to grow, fast-responding storage is an essential tool for an affordable and resilient energy future.
